This is a brass talisman of an owl and cobra. The owl represents Tara, Inanna, and Dalikmata. Her wings are open wide, her gaze focused and determined. In some lineages, the cobra at her feet represents a threat but in this case the cobra is a naga that represents wisdom. Cobras shield meditators with their great hoods and defend the dharma, or teachings. Together, this talisman symbolizes Tara’s swift, precise action when it comes to helping meditators reveal wisdom and reality itself.

Trinidad has further consecrated this talisman using a syncretized folk ritual at the Dragon Mountain monastery in California. This is a potent talisman for success in spiritual pursuits, goals aligned with the dharma like helping animals, and earth magick.
